- Calculator: TI-83+ or TI-84. (You can check one out from the library, but it must be turned in for state testing and before 2nd semester Final Exam.)

General Guidelines:
- Participate actively in class each day. Take notes and keep your notebook’s sections up-to-date daily.
- It is recommended that Personal communications devices be turned off during class so that you can focus attention on class content -- follow cell phone policy in class: red = no phones, yellow = use of iPad for assignment completion is OK, Green = cell phone use allowed
- Use class time to work on your homework while the ideas are fresh on your mind.
- Look at your Nine Weeks Calendar daily to be aware of assignment due dates, quizzes, tests, etc.
- iPads will be used for notes, homework turn in, presentations and Google document management and other applications we'll learn along the way this year.

- 3-4 tests per six weeks; 6-8 quizzes per 9 weeks
- In order to receive full credit on your homework, your work must be shown, be neat, and be organized just as shown for you on the examples worked together in class. (Take accurate notes to model after)
- Normally, your homework assignment for each section listed on your Nine Weeks’ Calendar will be from your textbook.
- Also, at the website listed herein, there is available for each section: videos, power points, online book, practice quiz, and more. http://whsmsmith2.weebly.com/
- All assignments for a Nine Weeks Grading period are made at the beginning of the Nine Weeks and listed on the “Nine Weeks Calendar”. If you are out for an school related event or absent for a day from school, look at the calendar and Google classroom for details.
